It was Sophie’s best friend Kate Terry walked up to Kate trying his best to act like Sophie and greeted her with the customary hug that Sophie does with all her friends.
“Morning Kat, what are you doing here so early” Terry questioned realizing that he made a slip by calling her Kat as that is what he called her not Sophie hoping that Kate didn’t notice the slip up.
“We made plans yesterday to walk to school together, how could you forget your plans with your best friend?” Kate replies with a dramatic flare at the end if Terry didn’t know better he would have thought she was upset by the tone she used at the end.
“Oh yeah I totally forgot I have been helping mom with Tina this morning so it must have slipped my mind” Terry responds.
“So is your brother still home” Kate asked which wasn’t something you expected her to ask.
“No he left earlier to meet up with friends” Terry says not getting why Kate would ask about him.
“So it will be just the two of us walking then” Kate responds, Terry has walked to school with his sister and Kate a few times in the bast though usually he walked a head so the two could talk.
