As the thieves tried to go on the offensive, twenty shadows appeared from the ground! She had set up an ambush prior to their meeting just in case things got out of hand. The large shadows stopped all of their attacks and apprehended them all, except for Makoto. Thee guards tried to grab her, but failed, and her attack connected with her target.
Unfortunately for our aikido master, her attack was absorbed into Sae’s fleshy body. She seemed entirely unfazed by the attack! Makoto tried to retract her punch in time and retreat, but she was too slow and was grabbed by the massive doppelgänger and put in a head lock.
“It would seem as though you all truly were hooligans beyond reason. Hooligans that must be punished. Only through reform of the unbelievers, is this great system able to keep functioning. Luckily I have just the thing to put fear back into the nonbelievers!”
