While traveling with Ash, Serena, and his little sister, Bonnie. Clemont was working on an invention to help with their food issue. You see, the gang took a wrong turn and didn't pack enough food. They also are pretty broke as well. Clemont decides to try and work on an invention to make things grow. So that way the food they have can be enlarged and they'll be able to continue on with no more food issues.
Clemont had the machine set up and it was ready for a field test. He lies a freshly made rice cake and turns on the machine. It needed to warm up first. So he left it unattended. Speak with Ash and Serena, none of them noticed Bonnie had wondered over the machine and was in direct line of it's firing!
The machine dings and let's out a blast of light. It covers both Bonnie and the rice cake. Bonnie let's out a surprised scream. Which in turn, Clemont, Ash, and Serena hear this and see the aftermath. Bonnie is standing in front of the rice cake and suddenly, the rice cake begins to expand quickly! This startled Bonnie and caused her to fall backwards and hit the ground. She let's out a painful ouch and rubs her butt.
Everyone watched as the once little rice cake grew, and grew, and grew! Once small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, was now the size of a car!!
"What in the world?!" Ash cried out.
"My invention to enlarge things, worked!" Clemont cheered.
"But wait, wasn't little Bonnie zapped too?!" Serena asked with a concerned worried tone.
