Chapter #5

Nathan heads to the office

    by: sdaze Author IconMail Icon
Nathan sat down at Emma's desk, once he'd figured out which key opened the office door. It had been quite the adventure for him learning to walk on heels as he made his way across the store. He'd just about got the hang of it, as long as he didn't move too fast.

"Sick?" Liz asked in an unconvinced tone.

"Um, yeah, so I sent him home." Nathan said as he opened up Emma's laptop, finishing his explanation of why 'Nathan' had gone missing. The screen lit up and a half finished game of Solitaire appeared on it.

Liz sighed, "You are too chuffing soft on him. You'll be giving him the wrong impression."

"Wrong impression?" Nathan asked.

Liz lifted her head from behind her own laptop and gave a coy grin. "He may think you are fond of him. You know he has a bit of a thing for the older ladies."

"I do not!"

"What?"

Nathan was aware of his error. He paused briefly as he calmed down and try to think of a response. "I mean, I do not..., think he does. That is just a nasty rumour some people have been spreading about him."

Liz relaxed her posture. "Sorry Emma, didn't mean to imply you were past it or anything. You cannot deny he has a habit of ogling certain female staff."

"I, uh guess he's just a red blooded male, nothing wrong with that, is there?" Nathan realised had absolutely no idea how Emma and Liz spoke to each other normally, when in private. He knew his own behaviour was different when alone with his younger male colleagues. He felt out of his depth in this situation. He was coming to the conclusion that he wanted to be out of this body and wished he could figure out how to achieve that outcome.

"No but when his attention is primarily aimed at you and Nikki plus he spends a considerable amount of his time watching me, Kelly and Tiffany, one can speculate his type. I've also caught him leering at Carly and Zoe as they enter and leave the salon."

Nathan could feel his still active pussy moisten further when he pictured the women as Liz named them. In addition he suddenly became very of aware of his new nipples for the first time. He could feel them pushing against the stiff fabric of his bra. He mumbled something quietly.

"What was that Emma?" Liz asked.

"He's got a girlfriend," Nathan repeated more clearly.

"I'm not surprised he's had to go elsewhere to sow his oats." Liz followed this comment with a smirk. "It's not like it's going to happen with those girls here or in the salon. "

Nathan was taken aback by how casually Liz was talking about his sex life.

"I don't think I understand, um, luv," Nathan said trying badly to match Emma's speaking style.

"Out of all those women I mentioned the only one he'd have half a chance with is Tiff and she's more of a man than he is," Liz said unaware of how accurate her witty remark was right now. "Carly and I are getting over break ups. Kelly, Nikki, Zoe and you are all happily married."

Liz's words had reminded him of yet another matter that he hadn't considered, Emma had a husband. Like the elephant in the room he suddenly found himself thinking about one particular activity that the two of them likely enjoyed. It was unfortunate as had just about got semi-comfortable with the idea of not being physically male. Visualising sex with a man was just too much for his brain to cope with. He hoped that with both of them being older it didn't happen very often.

"Emma are you all right?" Liz asked with a hint of concern.

"Um, yeah why do you ask?"

"I've been talking for the last two minutes and you haven't responded. You've sat there with what I can only describe as a horrified expression on your face."

"Sorry, I was, um, miles away," Nathan said. He could see Liz was expecting more of an in depth explanation. Unfortunately for Nathan he'd never been particularly quick witted. "I um, forget to put the bins out."

"Oh, I see. I wouldn't worry about that. I'm sure one of the girls will have done it, you are always telling me how responsible they are."

"Girls?" Nathan asked.

"Alice and Grace." Liz said slowly.

There was a faint recognition in Nathan's brain. He had heard those names before but couldn't quite place them. Eventually, it popped into his head. "Em –, I mean my daughters, yeah I'm sure one of them will have done it." This fuelled Nathan's anxiety even more as it was clear evidence that at least at some point Emma and her husband had an active sex life.

"You sure you are all right? Sounds like you are the one that should have gone home, not Nathan."

"No! I can't go there, I can't," Nathan said, now almost panicking at the thought of meeting Emma's husband. "I am okay, honestly."

"If you say so," Liz said with a note of concern, "you just don't seem like yourself."

Nathan rapidly stood up, forgetting about his heels and nearly taking a tumble. "And what's that supposed to mean?" he practically shrieked at Liz thinking she'd seen through him.

"Nothing, nothing," Liz responded, backing down herself. Emma was acting a bit strange but Liz didn't want to keep antagonising her for no good reason. She assumed there was some sort of issue at home, hence why she seemed so touchy about the subject.

Nathan was overwhelmed with feelings with claustrophobia in the tiny room. He tried to think of an excuse to leave that wouldn't attract any more attention from the assistant manager. "I need to go for a piss," he said loudly before closing the laptop.

Liz eyes opened wide at the crude phrasing from Emma. "What!"

Once again Nathan had forgotten who he was supposed to be. "I don't know why I said that. I meant to say pee." He could still see Liz's disapproving expression. "I mean a wee," he said as he walked around the desk.

"You've been hanging around Nathan too much," Liz said in a joking tone.

Nathan scurried from the office as quickly as he could, worried where Liz's reasoning would take her.
