Within one of Vale's forgotten forests, leftovers from plans of expansion, laid a spark of chaos dressing in white. Each "dance" was nothing more than rage, a wild lashing of emotions and tumultuous pride roaring in the privacy of night's shadow hanging over.
To say Weiss Schnee was angry would be an understatement.
Her current fury held little bounds in the abandoned forest, it's lush fauna and grown trees turning into a haven for her issues. The gall that trio of fools had, to say that she of all people had issues. Her!
With another swing of her Myrtenaster, she summoned a great slash of fire, letting it run right across multiple trees, before stabbing her rapier down and spinning to wheel to plant dust, summoning a great for surging, serpentine-like vines with the thickness of the trees themselves, all of them coiling like dragons as they thrashed wildly within the earth, breaking the ground and shaking it akin to an earthquake. As the tumult of quaking dirt, rock and sand from her attack surrounded her, Weiss failed to notice the strange meteorite that had decided to crash right behind her.
Instantly, the heiress found herself shaken by the meteorite, spinning to see it despite her better thoughts. Looking at it, the naturally reckless human instinct of curiosity made her stare at it for a while.
The thing was...small? It was strangely small and cute despite the crater it had made, it's glassy, gemstone features complemented by a sparkle of gold, with a golden, and glowing symbol on it's front side facing her. With a gulp and a bit of ice dust, Weiss held out her shaking hand to grab it, with Myrtenaster faced just in case.
Power
The girl shivered, recoiling backwards as her mind tried to process what she felt. The way the stone spoke to her was maddening, the ticklish cackle of energy running frantically beneath her skin like an unscratchable itch consuming her flesh. And yet...
Weiss rushed for the stone, grabbing it. Instantly the wild rush of power washed over her, it's strange properties sending her mind into a high as her senses dulled and her world grew distorted. A second passed and she was back to normal, but her hand stuck to the runestone.
⌛
"Of course, here you go." The shopkeeper happily spoke as they handed Weiss a bottle of dust of every form, a bunch of spare weapon parts and a hefty stack of lien.
After flashing the rune to someone, they became placid to her authority, and the shopkeeper was no different giving her everything she asked for, even the nonsensical demands.
Internally cackling, Weiss wondered what she could do with this newfound power. Her teammates had gotten...unpleasant to deal with, Jaune had become a roach of twig, and Weiss just gained a little bit of an edge. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
