Chapter #2

Brobdingnagians

    by: Rokaido Author IconMail Icon
Brobdingnagians (Brobby for short) are the biggest of the big. Wealthy, top class, lazy, strong and a whole lot of time on their hands. What mischief will they get into? They may be the least numerous race, but one Brobdingnagian is enough to lay waste to an entire country. They have much longer lifespans than the smaller races with an average lifespan of 122 years.

Compared to their smaller counterparts, they tend to age really well. Not a single wrinkle forms on their bodies until age 40 and their first gray hair doesn't appear until they are in their fifties. Most Brobbies are quite handsome/beautiful. Thanks to the warm climate and good genes, the average Brobby male is tall, muscular, tanned with blonde hair and high cheekbones. The average Brobby female share the tanned skin, blonde hair and high cheekbones with their male counterparts, but they are also very busty and have a shapely figure. Average cup size among females is F. These traits tend to make them highly desirable and they lead active sex lives.

Brobdingnagians tend to take a greater interest in physical activities than their smaller counterparts. From a young age, they are encouraged to participate in sports in order to cultivate their physical strength. Most Brobdingnagians are employed in construction or mining, which they are highly efficient at due to their great strength. They take great pride in this and often tend to express their strength on unfortunate Lilliputian and Gulliverian cities. They believe that might makes right and they are the mightiest race in the world.

Brobdingnagians mostly treat their smaller counterparts very poorly. While they have some respect for the Gulliverians, they never treat Lilliputians with any degree of humanity. They see them as insects who are of no use to them. Brobbies treat Lilliputians in multiple ways. They use them as food, pets, slaves or not even using them at all, just killing just because they can. The Lilliputians have almost no power of the Brobbies. Millions have been slaughtered at the hands of these country-sized titans. Entire towns and cities with centuries of history and culture have been ended by a single stomp. Brobdingnagians are almost never punished for these crimes and as a result, continue to wreak havoc on Lilliput. The one exception is the Brobdingnagian country of Olympia. They have a much kinder view of their smaller counterpart owing to being more educated and was where the legendary Lemuel Gulliver made contact with the Brobbies. Crimes against Lilliputians and Gulliverians are actually acted upon and friendships and even marriages between sizes are common there.

Being a Brobdingnagian isn't all great despite being the biggest race. They find it difficult to have children. Their birth rate stands at a measly 0.6. Because of this, there is no incentive to marry and they often have unprotected sex. The Lilliputians refuse to share their fertility treatments because to them, any baby Brobdingnagian is a future threat to their existence. Brobbies desperate to have children have married Gulliverians to circumvent this, but 66% of babies born from these relationships are born Gulli-size.
