Fishmen Island a small paradise in the deep dark sea. Located inside a bubble under the roots of an ancient tree it provides the only safe heaven around a good long while.
It wasn't easy for you to reach this location. Many of your clones perished on the journey. Getting crushed, drowning, becoming fish food it took too many attempts to get to this location.
In the end only a 1 inch copy managed to arrive and that was after being lost inside a bubble for who knows how long. But it wasn’t all in vain, you learned that even though you couldn't split while submerged in water and that you were unable to do just about anything, you would still get the mass back when that clone perished. Much like how Luffy the man with the powers of rubber couldn't actively stretch underwater, but someone else could still stretch his body for him. The power still worked, even if you couldn't activate it in water.
Anyway that grueling experience was worth it in the end. Because this place would allow you to learn one of the most formidable fighting styles in the world of One Piece, Fishmen Karate.
A style known for its powerful punches, shockwave techniques, and for the uncanny ability to manipulate water as a weapon.
By mastering the ways of Fishmen Karate you will be able to take down opponents several times your size. Crucial when you are, for the most part, smaller than everyone.
Therefore during day you travel incognito into many of the Fishmen Karate dojos spread throughout the island and practice their techniques from the shadows.
Progress is slow, but the only purpose of this clone body is to learn the art, so you don't need to worry about anything else.
That said, it would be a lie to say that you're only here for Fishmen Karate. If that were true then you would just live at the dojo 24/7.
No, you live in the paradise known as the Mermaid Cafe.
A restaurant and tourist attraction where the prettiest most beautiful young mermaids work, live, and play at.
You couldn't think of a better place to be. Even though you hid and scurried away like a bug from the mermaid staff.
Although those girls can be incredibly welcoming to their patrons, you aren't sure how they would react to a bug sized human living there unbeknownst to them.
Still you were content with your current routine. Wake up steal some scraps of food. Go to the dojo and train till the evening. Return, steal some leftovers, and relax the night away with the view of a different mermaid each night.
A happy life. Well, that was at least until an unexpected event broke the routine.
