Arabasta! The Desert Kingdom ruled by 12th generations of the Nefertari family. A Summer Island that has year long sweltering heat and arid never-ending dunes. The cities that it sporadically contains within its vasts desert have a mixture of Egyptian, Arabian, and Persian architectures and designs. On their markets fragantful spices and captivating perfumes are sold by veiled vixens in scant clothing. Truly a paradisial oasis to the weary traveler.
Even though you've been here for many cycles, the sights and smells never get old. Wish you could say the same thing about the heat. But that’s just some of the difficulties you have to get used to as an agent of Baroque Works.
Baroque Works is a criminal syndicate composed of Bounty Hunters, Assassins, Spies, Rogues, Pirates, and other near-do-wells. All under the leadership of a Warlord of the Sea, it has the express purpose of taking over the country and discovering an Ancient Weapon of Mass Destruction. Not that it will ever reach that goal. At some point in the future the crew of the Straw Hat Pirates will defeat the boss and cause it to dismantle.
Well that doesn't matter much to you. When that time arrives, you will already be gone. Right now though, you are the infamous agent known as Mr. 12. A code name given to denote your ranking in the organization. Not very high, but barely at an officer level.
You managed to get a position because of your amazing espionage skills. Though it isn't hard to become a spy when your current height is only 3". With your stature you have managed to gather information in every mission so far. In fact that's why you are at Rainbase today.
Some of the higher ups are have taken note of your impressive record and a promotion should be available soon.
Walking into Rain Dinners a pyramid casino and resort secretly run by the organization, you head to a private VIP suite were your superiors are waiting for you.
The luxurious furniture and decorations does little to distract you from the impressive panel that is present in front of you. Sitting at a table is a trio of beautiful women that you've only seen in the manga and anime of your previous world. Although right now they are here in 100% live action.
At the left of the table was the blue eyed blonde Mikita in her signature lemon dress. Also known as Miss Valentine, she's a ruthless agent that has the power to alter her weight by the kilogram. Making her light as a feather or heavy as an anvil.
On the table's right, is the bartender of the Spider's Cafe, Paula. Although that's just a cover identity of Miss Doublefinger, a.k.a. Zala. This top operative is scool as can be before she impales you with one of her hidden spikes. Not that one would know as she looks quite casual in her blue tank top and glasses that macth the color of her hair.
Last, centermost, and most definitely not least is Miss All Sunday, the Devil Child Nico Robin. Honestly this woman needs no introduction. The archeologist turned assassin sits with one knee over the other in her short purple skirt, loosely laced top, and curved cowgirl hat. With one hand on her cheek she looks at you with a mix of amusement and interest.
You gulped hard at the presence of this legend that has the ability to spring an arm anywhere a snap you in half. But quickly reign in your runaway thoughts as you present your best foot forward in front of this panel of officers.
