"I am happy to help you practice Friend Ruby," Penny said "But as I am mechanical I don't know if I can be hypnotized."
"You can still tell me if I'm doing it right or not." Ruby said letting her friend into the RWBY dorm. "This is to impress Weiss and she likes to be over prepared."
"Why are you still insistant on being close with Weiss?" Penny asked "She's rude."
"You just haven't got to know yet." Ruby insisted "Now, sit down I want to get started!"
Penny sat on Weiss' bed as Ruby made intense eye contact and began her incantation. And Penny went under almost immediatly.
"Er, Penny?"
"Yes..." The red head answered, her expression blank
"Wow I am good at this!" Ruby said excitedly
"You are good at this..."
"Or... are you just used to being programmed?"
Penny's expression stired "N-no..."
"Oh sorry! You're still safe and relaxed." Ruby said looking deeper into Penny's eyes "You aren't just a machine so you won't be programmed. I'll suggest things to you, because you're a person."
Penny, still entranced, smiled slightly "I'm a person..."
