With a sigh, Dan turned to the closest window he saw. His arm swung back and forth while holding the gum, making Derek sick to the stomach from the motion itself. At last, Dan stopped and opened the window. It was still nighttime from the looks of things, and most people would probably sleep after a certain point, but the party was still goin on in here.
Derek took a peek at the outside world, and it made him panic. “No, Dan! Don’t throw me out there, please! Anywhere but there!” Like before, his pleas went unanswered while Dan pulled his arm back.
The logic made sense to him. If he tossed the gun outside, no one would be able to complain about it, not even Adric. It'll give him off his back for the time being, and he’d want nothing more than for some peace. So he tossed it out like it were a baseball and closed the window without thinking twice.
Derek screamed. He was spiraling in the air from such a powerful throw. He didn’t detach from the gum, but it felt better to remain trapped in its sticky form than to land flat on the ground and break his whole body upon impact. He didn’t know what he was gonna do, how he was gonna survive the outside world knowing that there were many dangerous things besides the gigantic boys in the house.
His screaming stopped the moment he and the gym finally landed on solid ground. But where was Derek now?
