Marco inspected the chocolate bar and inspected each side of it. Not once did he notice the tiny speck of a person struggling to free himself. He was lost among the many other particles of dust. Marco sighed in disappointment. He was briefly considering eating the chocolate, but seeing how much dust was on one side, he figured it would ruin the flavor too much. As he looked back up, he noticed Dan in the kitchen and thought of something entertaining to do with the bar.
"Hey, Tyson," Marco smirked at his friend. "Do you think we can get your brother to eat this?"
The idea excited Tyson immediately. "I don't know, but we have to try! Like, right now!" He said cheerfully. After all four boys agreed to do it, they started walking towards the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Derek was still desperately trying to free himself. He managed to free one of his arms, but most of his body was still stuck. He wanted to convince himself that he could make it, but he was starting to lose hope that he wouldn't get eaten or thrown away. The thought of any of that happening terrified him. Which is why he couldn't just give up now.
Dan was getting something for himself from the kitchen, when he turned around to see Tyson and his friends staring at him. He wondered what they wanted from him this time. "Hi," Dan said. "Do you need something, or are you just going to stand there?"
Tyson and the others giggled before Marco held up the dusty, somewhat melted piece of chocolate and said, "We dare you to eat this!" All four of them started laughing again.
Of course. They wanted him to be part of one of their dumb games...again. After briefly thinking about it, Dan....
