Chapter #5

Oblivious Eliana

When Jack exited the building, the mass of students made it difficult for him to spot the girl. He began to panic and walked quickly around the surrounding area. That seemed to do the trick, though, as when Jack looked in the direction of the nearest dining hall, he found the girl making her way, presumably, to that building. Wasting little time, Jack rushed and weaved through students to make sure he didn't lose her again. This sense of urgency proved to be effective in making up ground, and by the time the girl was entering the dining hall, Jack was right behind her. She held the door open for him, which Jack thanked her for, then walked forward to present her ID to the entry employee.

Before she had the opportunity to do so, though, Jack tapped her on the shoulder. "Yeah?" the girl asked, turning around. Up close, this girl was actually larger than even Jack. If he had to guess, she was probably 6'0 or so, and had a healthy girth. By no means was he insulting her, rather he was admiring her physique. In terms of looks, she was just as attractive as any other girl he had seen so far, yet appeared far stronger. "Well, did you need something?" the girl asked, impatient. "Oh, uh, yeah. Sorry," Jack shook out of his daze. "I think you might have sat on something last class," he nervously pointed out. The girl looked to her butt. "Oh, I did?". She proceeded to use her hand to reach around and wipe away any debris, but she couldn't feel anything. Her face returned to Jack, an agitated look falling upon him with a sharp look in her brown eyes. "Are you sure? I didn't feel anything. Were you just checking me out?".

Jack shook his head repeatedly. "No! No, I promise. I just thought I saw something on your seat is all, I'm sorry if that might have been weird". The girl laughed and jokingly pushed Jack. "All right, whatever. You know, if I really caught your attention, you could have just come up and talked to me, I'm not that bad. Anyways, I'm Eliana. Care to come sit with me?". Jack paused, but nodded his head. "Sure, that'd be cool," he accepted. Eliana smiled. "Great, I'll be over by the windows," she pointed to the table. Jack smiled back and nodded, then the two separated. When Eliana turned back to return to presenting her ID, Jack began to sweat when he saw the figure of the guy in the same place it had been before. Knowing time might be a factor, Jack quickly followed Eliana's actions and presented his ID. He rushed to get his food, then went to the table Eliana wanted to meet at. Not long after he sat down, Eliana walked over.

"Hey, Jack, long time no see," she joked. Jack superficially laughed, then returned his eyes to Eliana's backside when she temporarily turned around. No changes. When she sat down, Jack once again grimaced as he could hear the slightest crunch. "So, where are you from?" Eliana asked. Jack was quick to respond. "From the southwest". Eliana laughed. "Any particular place in the southwest?". Jack remained silent, concentrating on the poor boy under Eliana. "Uh, Jack? Are you okay?". Jack snapped out of his daze. "Uh, yeah, I'm good. What was the question?". Eliana looked at Jack, concerned.

"Okay, seriously, what's on your mind?". Jack sighed. "I hate to be a bother, but I'm sure I saw you sit on something, would you mind checking it out again?" he said. Eliana raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? How can I be sure you aren't just wanting me to do this so you can sneak another peek at my ass?".

"I won't look, just please check," Jack promised. Eliana nodded, then motioned him to do so. Jack complied, and waited before hearing Eliana gasp. He opened his eyes, just to see her flick the small guy behind her, landing him into someone's open backpack. Jack gasped. "Jack, what's up with you?" Eliana blinked. Jack let out one final sigh, no longer wanting to concern himself with the shrunk guy. "It's nothing, let's just eat".

After lunch, Jack got Eliana's number, then they went their separate ways. What's next for Jack?
