This choice: Billy escapes into the hallway with the Cat on his heels • Go Back... Billy flipped his shorts back-and-forth, back-and-forth and an effort to keep the beast cat a bay. The animal raised one of its massive paws and began tapping at the air where the shorts are flying to and fro. Ever so slightly Billy would inch back; step by step. Every time he took a little bit more space between him and the cat the animal scooters Ford and batted at the cloth whipping through the air. Billy dared to hope that this would work until, WAP, paw caught the underpants he was flipping around and off they went.
For a second both cat and Billy didn’t move just following the shorts as they fluttered to the ground and then remain still. The cat got up and took a step towards where the discarded undergarments had landed. Billy, however took the chance and ran for the door. It wasn’t much of a Headstart because the moment Billy started running the cat changed its direction and pounced for him !
Boom!
Billy felt the impact just behind him. He poured out all his energy and feed her into his legs. He never ran so fast before his life. He wasn’t actually running to anything in particular. He was just running away.
Through the slight opening in the door Billy had to jump up and over a small rise in the door frame but then he poured back into full speed sprinting for all he was worth. Is oversize night shirt flapped around him like a sail.
All of this however was in vain. WAP! Really was struck from behind and went sailing through the air and then rolled across the carpeted ground. Stopping his roll with his hand spilling spun around looking for the cat. It wasn’t hard to miss. The furry dinosaur was low to the ground and slinking towards him. It’s eyes were massive.
CREEK, BOOM!
Just as suddenly as everything else there was this alien sound followed by a massive concussive force in the ground. It was repeated by another concussive force and again and again. A shadow came over Billy and as if the sky had fallen a foot, the size of a semi truck hit the ground in front of him temporary blocking out the cat. The massive foot was attached to a bear ankle which then disappeared inside sale like cloth that went up and up and up. The impacts to the ground were so massive that Billy actually bounced a bit as the ground vibrated with the giants passing.
Thinking this was his moment, Billy got up to run. The cat was not where it had been. It must’ve moved when the giant came on the scene but Billy did not know where. Orienting himself against the wall really ran towards the end of the hall that would’ve been his room. However, Billy only made a few steps before another alien CREEK was heard followed by more booms.
This time, however, the semi truck didn’t pass over Billy but instead hit him A glancing blow. The top of the massive foot, as it was raised had struck The boy on the side kicking him up into the air at an angle. Billy came down hard, landing on his side. It was not a good landing. Fortunately, the carpet absorb most of the impact.
Boom, boom, boom this new giant stepped into the hallway and was soon gone. The sound of another massive creek followed by a final boom.
From Billy‘s perspective always chaos. But to the giants above it was a normal morning. Britney had gotten up and in her overly short pajamas step out of her room to go downstairs and get breakfast. Kati, had soon followed shoot, only she had gone straight into the hallway bathroom, shutting the door behind her.
Billy, laid on the ground stand and hurt. But thankfully he was not broken. He just laid there for a moment stunned. However even this moment was temporary as the sound of the massive door at the other end of the hall opening Signal get another giants entry into the stage. Adrenaline flooded Billy‘s system again and he turned around to see his mothers frame build the massive doorway and all to quickly come his way . Boom, BOOM, BOOM!
Really tried to get up faster and run but the side that he landed on didn’t respond as it should is slow to get up. His mother soon was on top of them and all Billy could do was roll back and curl into a ball. He felt the mass of a behemoth rise over him and pass.
There was another creek sound and suddenly his mother was gone. Billy quickly looked around and realized he was next to the door to the nursery. His mother had just passed him over to go and check on Erica. Fearing to go any further, Billy turned around and ran back that we had come. However, realizing that the cat was probably somewhere back there Billy didn’t go back towards the bedroom where the remote was once the duct into the next room he could get to.
Billy ran as fast as he could limping every third stride. His hip hurt.
Meow!
Billy did not turn around to even look to see where that sounded come from. Instead he quickly took action.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
