Billy stood up and looked at the bed. The edge was taller than he was. There was only a few moments for the realization of this situation to hit him; HE was now shrunk. He was about to start panicking when the alarm clock on the bedside table went off loud enough that his ears hurt.
Billy flinched back and then saw a massive arm reach out seemingly out of the abyss that was the top of the bed and HIT the alarm clock silencing it. Whoa…was that…is that Mom? As Billy instinctively backed away from the bed his angle of visions changed and he saw the massive hill cover under a snow cap of blanket and fall away as his mother sat up in bed and stretched out her arms. It was like a Giant Monster move where the giant monster moved in exaggerated ways just because it was so massive.
“Shit.” Billy said now fully comprehending what was going on.
Billy kept backing up until his was against the wall. This offered the most unobstructed view as his giant mom yawned and swung massive legs over the side of the bed that hit the ground in a Boom that resonated through the floor. Damn.
Watching her Billy saw her yawn some more and blink her eyes. It was at that moment Billy remembered that he was now in clear sight and his mom could see him…
Billy looked around wildly for a place to run. To his right was the master bathroom. He might be able to hide in there. To the left was the open door to the call way. There was also the closet which was slightly open. Billy’s instincts were to run to the open hallway but something also told him to remain very, very still. If he didn’t move, maybe she shouldn’t see him…like that move with the T-Rex.
