fooled?

“What the fuck” I thought and ended the call. But after a while I was curious if and what I would find in the old storage room. I left my office workplace and made my way to the mentioned room.
I was almost disappointed as I found the door closed and locked.
This gave me the impression I was fooled, and I shouted, “This can’t be happening”.
