As soon as they close the door they hear the most horrifying noise that they could possibly imagine

The click of the lock that has just sealed their fate

The thief tries to open the door but it won't budge

Eventually, they become more desperate and start to violently shake it but the door will not open for them

It's at this point you make your presence to them known
