The spell takes a while to start working

Sarvente cast the spell, waiting for the effect to take place. She had never cast it before, so she did not know how much she would grow, how fast, or when the effect would start. Unfortunately for her, the boy took her for some sort of joke. “PFFT, you actually tried that? Get out of here, ya stupid cosplayer.” However, slight changes begin to brew inside of sarvente. Slowly she inched, barely growing at all, neither of them noticing. Sadly for the boy, sarv’s persistence would be his downfall. “Why won’t this stupid spell work!” Shouted sarvente, as the boy continued to poke fun and laugh. As the boys joking continued, sarv decided to…
