When the ring hit you, the world around you went blindingly bright. Your ears were filled with the sound of rushing water. Your body felt as if it was expanding and getting ready to explode. Then you passed out.
When you come to, you find yourself flat on your back, looking up. Otherwise, you feel good. Better than good. You feel like your twenty years old again, and you just woke up after a really good night's sleep.
