"You know, Mr. Host, the Grinch and I have a lot in common; we're both furry and green and neither of us can stand the people around us. We also both hated Christmas. The Grinch stole all the Whos' possessions, but he sadly didn't steal the true meaning of Christmas. The Whos still celebrated Christmas regardless of their lack of possessions, and this caused the Grinch to have a change of heart, return the stuff he stole, and celebrate Christmas with them. Phooey! Ironically, the one time I liked Christmas was when Elmo wished for it to be every day. Everyone was miserable from having to buy presents every day, Maria and Luis were out of practice and their Fix-it Shop went under, Big Bird was upset because Snuffy was celebrating Christmas in Cincinnati with his grandmother, the carolers lost their voices from singing carols every day, and even The Count was sick of counting Christmases! I also got tons of trash in the form of wrapping paper and used Christmas trees. It's a shame that little red menace went and put things right for everyone else. I would have preferred if he got new roller skates like he originally wanted. Anyway, my final answer is A. Whoville." Oscar told the

"And A. Whoville is the correct answer. The Grinch tried to steal Christmas from Whoville because that is where the Whos live. Good answer, Oscar, you have just won $100.00!" the host told Oscar as the audience booed and jeered. Oscar was undeterred, and merely chuckled.
"Is there any sound more pleasing to a grouch's ear?" Oscar asked the host.
"A grouch's, maybe. Not so much for a human's. Anyway, are you ready for your next question?" the host asked Oscar.
"You bet I'm ready!" said Oscar.
"Very well. Here is your second question for $500.00." the host began.
