"Our first guest is an orange muppet who lives in an apartment on a fictional street in New York City with his best buddy Bert. His hobbies include taking baths, squeaking his rubber duckie, and generally annoying Bert, especially when he's trying to sleep. Please welcome our first guest, Ernie from Sesame Street!" the host announced, and the audience cheered as Ernie walked in.
"Hi there! Boy, it's really great to be here. I only wish my old buddy Bert were here with me, but he wanted to stay home today." Ernie told the host.
"I can't imagine why. Anyway, welcome to the show, Ernie. Are you ready to play Millionaire?" the host asked Ernie.
"Is Bert my bestest buddy in the whole wide world? Of course I am!" Ernie told the host.
"Okay, Ernie. Here's how the game works; you have ten questions, and if you get them all correct, you will win one million dollars. If you get one wrong, you'll lose the game, but you're welcome to walk away with what money you have if the question's too tough. You have three lifelines; you can call a friend to see if they know they answer, you can pick 50/50 to reduce the answers down to two, and you can ask the audience to see if they know the answer. Do you understand?" The host asked Ernie.
"I sure do! Let's start the game! I wanna win that million dollars!" Ernie told the host.
"Okay, Ernie. Here's your first question for $100.
