-The Return: An alternate take on the usual instant weight swap trope, after the swap happens the reader continues to follow as the now fat one actually returns to their lithe self while the now thin one (either on purpose or by accident) gorges themselves to their original tubbiness.

-The Reversal: the fat one is only fat due to a series of circumstances in their life that conspire to keep them big (ex. desk job, feeder partner) while the thin one's life is perfectly suited to promote a healthy lifestyle (ex. wealth, fitness trainer partner). Either by fantastical means or more grounded ones they are now suddenly given each other's lives and thus over time each other's bmi's.
