Despite that she was busy, there was a higher chance that the mother rather than the daughter could understand your situation better and therefore help you. Or at least, that was what you assumed to be the case.

Anyway, with your choice made, you run right straight towards her. And after a long walk, you arrive near her feet. And just hearing the loud noises made by both the cooking pan and the cellphone told you that there was little to no way for her to hear anything that your tiny lungs could muster. So, you started to think of other ways to get her attention. Or still, try screaming and see if it's truly in vain.
