As Silvia walks back to the table with you on it, you can see her pout. Guess you remembered right.
While pouting, Silvia admits that you right, while grumbling under her breath.
Nodding and sighing in relief you ask her a question.
“Then what test will I be doing today, and when will you turn me back to normal height?” You asked.
Still having a pout on her face, she mildly retorts to you.
“What do you mean what test? You're obviously doing this test.” Silvia states.
Shocked, you respond back to her.
“But I was right! You can’t just do this to me again Silvia!” You complain.
Turning to properly face you, you see her still upset.
“So what if you're right? I’m the director of this lab, your boss. You're already shrunk and everything was already prepped with you in mind for this test. You're doing this and that’s final.” Silvia crosses her arms and looks down at you, slightly annoyed.
Not wanting to anger a giant and probably, ok most likely not sane woman, you sigh and give in.
“Ok Silvia. What’s on the agenda today for this test? I’m shrunk, so what exactly am I supposed to do? Climb under a desk and find lost items or run a rat maze?” You respond sarcastically.
Noting your sarcasm and giving in, Silvia’s mood goes back to being cheerful.
“Just what I wanted to hear Josh! Don’t worry, it’ll be fun! And no the rat maze isn’t ready yet, not to mention too boring, so pass.” Silvia says as she smirks at you.
She returns to the previous desk and pulls out a number of files and places them on the table, along with what looks like a mini watch shaped like device.
“These are some of the tests you’ll get to chose from, and the device is a support tool that will administer various experimental drugs to help you out in them. Each button brings up a different drug to aide you. Now, push the first button!” Silvia explains enthusiastically.
You do as instructed and push the first of many buttons.
You feel a prick in your arm as if a needle injected you with something, and see some words appear on the screen of the device.
Before you can read it, Silvia has begun to explain.
“You just administered a special size agent to yourself. You are now a few inches tall, like a finger. With the added effects of the agent, you can grow to certain sizes or shrink. Example, maybe a tic tack, or 5-8 inches. As it’s still experimental, we’re not really sure, so make sure to test or report what you find like usual.” Silvia ends her explanation.
You decide to ask a question in return.
“Um, Silvia, why exactly were those measurements the example you gave?” You ask hesitantly.
With a smirk, Silvia answers.
“You never know. Maybe one of the task will need it, or you’ll find it more… accommodating and need be a… certain size, if you catch my drift?” She says in a teasing tone and winks, the suggestiveness of which you don’t like.
She then addresses you to the different piles of files.
“Pile one if you chose it, will be split into three piles. They are based on age groups and will be volunteers aiding in the experiments and tests you’ll be doing. Pile two will be tests using workers at the lab who were chosen to do test with you. Last but not least, pile three is test that will involve you doing various things as a tiny at my discretion for the test.” Silvia explains.
