Let’s start with the story of 16-year-old Ethan, a typical teenage boy. He lost his grandpa recently and was sad, since he always had a good relationship with him. He almost got into a fight with his mom, as she puts some of the personal belongings of Grandpa in a simple wooden box to store it on the attic.
Ethan wonders why grandma was supporting this. Grandma was old and lonely in the house they were living since many years. Now she only had her daughter Fren, Ethan’s mother and some Eastern European nurse, who took care of her, looking for her, cleaning her house and doing some groceries or cooking on demand….
Ethan understood the situation but one early Saturday morning he was sneaking on the attic, opening the box of his grandpa’s items: He found some old books and some kind of diary with handwritten entries. They were in Latin barely to understand for Ethan, but they looked like spells or curses…He wished he would know more about Latin…. Anyhow as he was reading aloud one of the sentences, suddenly a portal or kind of vortex opened and before Ethan could react or hold himself somewhere he was soaked inside…. He blacked out….
