Lucy's body had carried Marcus right out of the room and into the hallway where he now discovered he didn't have the remote.

"Ah! There you are!" his mother said clasping his arm and dragging him down the stairs.

"We must hurry before the shops close, there is so much to do..." her voice drifting off.

As much as Marcus would liked to have asked exactly what it was they were "to do" he was much to busy clinging hold of the bannister for dear life trying to keep his feet under him while swallowing his abject fear of tumbling down the stairs onto the landing. There was quite simply no dissuading mom once she had her mind made up and she grabbed both their purses on the way through the door handing Marcus his as they made their way to the car At any rate, Marcus would find out what was going on during the drive to where ever it was they were going and he would have to worry about Lucy and the remote later. He sure wished he had told her about it first though realizing now that not telling her was just plain dumb.

Lucy had remained seated in Marcus's desk chair the whole time. The relaxed state and calm energy contained within her brother's body after it's workout provided clarity of mind and the strength to contain the anger she had building toward Marcus once she understood what he had done. She felt utterly betrayed by her brother who had completely lost her trust. Sure she easily just switch them back, but how would she possibly stop him from just doing the same thing once he had possession of the remote again? Did she know why he had done it? No. Did she trust him not to do it? No. She knew now that to switch back meant she also had to prevent it from ever happening again, and that wouldn't be easy to do. She had to do something though she thought looking down at the remote in her hand resting on her lap. She would have to take the remote with her and get out of the house for a few days she decided and with that slipped it into her shirt pocket buttoning it securely closed and stood up.

Taking Marcus's gym bag to the hamper she dropped off the dirty gym clothing on the way to her room to spray it down with her air freshener and gather her own tablet, spare phone, chargers and some other things. The bag also served as his over night bag and contained all the personal items she would need for Marcus's body so she returned to his room and carefully placed a few days clothing neatly inside.

Heading downstairs to the kitchen she placed the bag on the table tucking an apple and banana on top, then gathering together the makings for a roast beef sandwich and small salad prepared a light meal to take with her. she wondered am moment about telling anyone what she was up to, though not certain of her immediate destination herself just yet, She along the others had been waiting in the living room for news from their Mother's phone call with their Aunt about their Grandmother's 75th Birthday celebration. Her dad must be out back with her younger siblings she thought, so taking a bite from her sandwich she grabbed Marcus's overnight bag and made her way out through the front door.
