Prince Balor - Son to the king of Thornog, who has recently died. Now there's a matter of whom will succeed him, Balor or his twin brother Baylon. Unfortunately, the King died rather suddenly and unexpectedly, before he had time to name either of his sons heir to the throne. Now there is a crisis of succession, and the city is divided between supporters of either prince. If a solution isn't found soon, the city risks a civil war.
Darven the Black - A smuggler and trader of weapons and explosives on the black market. He and his accomplices seek to start another war on the surface, so that they can profit by selling their wares to the opposing nations.
Galom Drudge - A common miner, working in the mines of Valdraga. After a cave in, he and his fellow miners must find a way out of the mines, but they're running out of supplies and there's no telling what sort of creatures dwell in the dark underground.
Mulk Redbeard - A notorious bandit, robbing caravans travelling the roads between the dwarven cities. He and his gang live in Undertown, a conclave of thieves, murderers and other criminals. Plans to rob the great vault of Ragnabal, and has invited the best thieves from the surface to help.
