The thing about Hogwart's shrinking curse is that while it was well known by students within the school (Hard not to given they have 4 doll-sized witches running around from October to June, as well as the things the Rumor Mill spits out), it's never actually discussed outside of Hogwarts. At least, not in certain terms, usually, it's referred to as the cursed witch having a 'wild 7th year' especially as one of them usually ended up being passed around their year mates as a sextoy by the end of the year. But besides teasing amongst friends, nothing that happened while the cursed was a student is ever mentioned in public.
This 'open secret' meant that when the Triwizard Tournament was reopened and it only allowed 7th years to participate, nobody thought to inform the other schools of the curse, not a problem for the All-Male Durmstrang, besides the shock of seeing a living doll come early November, but very dangerous for the All Girl Beaubattons, as you'll soon see.
While there was nothing anyone could have done to stop the curse, as it targets '7th-year girls' with no other rhyme or reason, it would have been a nice heads up for Fleur Delecour, who one moment was studying for the Tournament in the Hogwarts library, and the next was 6 inches tall with her allure kicked up to the level of a horny pure adult Veela (Basically turn the dial up to max, and break it off so it can't be lowered or switched off ever again)
And now for the important question, did her clothes shrink with her, and was Fleur the only Beaubatons victim of the curse this year?
1) Her clothes shrank with her, and the other 3 witches that year were Hogwarts students
2) Her clothes remain normal size, and the other 3 witches that year were Hogwarts students
3)Her clothes shrank with her, and all 4 curse victims were from Beaubatons
4) Her clothes remain normal size, and all 4 curse victims were from Beaubatons
5) By some glitch of the curse, probably due to shrinking a magical creature, even if only a partial one, ONLY Fleur shrunk this year, and her clothes remained normal size.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
