You figured it's best to treat her with kindness and spoil her a little bit as she's been through a lot and needs a good place, that will also motivate her to work even better.
You rub her head and say. "Take it easy with cleaning Pippa. It's only your first day." While smiling.
Pippa nods saying. "Pippa will sire. Pippa won't disappoint as your maid but will take it easy as you ask." She says and walks off cleaning.
In the meantime you decide to prepare a big feast to welcome her as you went ahead and started cooking. As you were cooking you could hear Pippa humming to herself as she was cleaning.
When you were finished you call her and she flies to the kitchen surprised seeing all the food you made. "Can Pippa eat the food?" She asks drooling a little.
You smile and nod. "It's to welcome you Pippa. Now let's eat together but eat slowly. You don't wanna get sick." You say setting the plates for you both and Pippa hugs you. "Pippa thanks you. You brought me into your nest and now did all this for Pippa. Thank you very much." She says smiling as her feathered wings felt really soft around you.
You return the hug and let her sit down and explain her how to eat with her knife and fork. She had a bit of trouble first but soon got the hang of it.
After the feast Pippa relaxed rubbing her belly that has a little bulge now. "Ah, Pippa hasn't felt this full in a long time. Does Pippa clean plates now?" She asks and you nod joining her in washing the dishes.
*a few hours later*
"Okay Pippa. It's late so let's go to sleep now." You say and guide her to her bedroom where she has lot's of space and a large bed to sleep in. "Wow, Pippa never saw a bed so big." She says quickly diving in the sheets and snuggling up.
"Goodnight sir." She says to you and quickly falls to sleep with a cute smile on her face.
You smile seeing her this happy and go to sleep as well.
