Shrunk and Trapped

"Beast Boy, I think you should just let friend Raven be. We all know she fights many battles within her own head, she may just need time to herself. And if you disrupt her you could be endangering yourself, her, and the rest of the team." Starfire said to a concerned and upset Beast Boy. She definitely had a point but Beast Boy couldn't shake the fact that he felt like something was wrong.

"I don't know Star, something feels....different ya know? Do you think she's mad at us? Or maybe just me? I did kinda shrink the teams uniforms by drying them incorrectly. But how was I supposed to know!?!?" Beast Boy threw up his arms before turning around and crossing them. He stared at the ground and held a frustrated look on his face. He remembered that day very clearly, specifically the screaming match between himself and Raven.

Starfire levitated to the front of him and put a hand on his shoulder, "I'm sure it goes deeper than that. It was just one set of them and we all have spares. It was more funny than anything. I know you and Raven yelled at each other but we all have those moments. Now, just calm down and head back to your room, and Raven will walk out any moment and all will be fine." With that she smiled and walked away, hoping that Beast Boy would come to his senses.

Beast Boy was left standing there faced with a tough decision, check up on Raven who might not even need or want help but also might definitely need or want help, or go to his room and wait it out? "No, she needs her time alone, besides, what can I do....WAIT I GOT IT!!" In a Eureka moment, Beast Boy concocted a great plan. "I'll just change into a bug, and look around. If she's okay, I can just sneak back out. If she's not, I'll report back to the team. Man, I really am a genius."

With all the confidence in the world he walked up to Raven's door and looked for any type of crack or opening. Unfortunately, the doors are sealed tight here. Beast Boy then realized he was looking in the wrong place! The vents provided plenty of room. "Hm, I don't wanna draw attention to myself so let's avoid any rodents. An ant should do it, I can climb the wall and sneak right in, unheard." Putting his plan into action, he transformed into an ant and started his climb into the vents. After a small bout of navigation, he found himself peering into Raven's room. And it looked, peaceful, Raven was simply meditating with her book open and next to her. "It looks too good to be true, I'm gonna go check the book."

Beast Boy climbed down from the vent and made it to the floor. "Whoa, everything is so....huge." He was used to being bird sized but being truly tiny amongst a sea of carpet and looking up at his giant crush was very different. Beast Boy shook his head as to snap himself out of it and scurried over to the book. When he got next to it, he saw that all h could see was Raven's purple cloak draping down like a giant curtain and he noticed one problem, "It might be kind of hard to read it this small, one quick peak at regular size shouldn't hurt. Just have to try and be extra stealthy."

Beast Boy backed up some to create room and transformed. "Alright now to-AHHHHH!!!" Beast Boy screamed in shock as he found himself staring up Raven only, he wasn't an ant. He was just tiny. He noticed Raven's face twitch some and he quickly covered his mouth, waking up Raven from a meditation was never good but at this height? It was disastrous. "Okay, let's calm down, it's probably just some magic voodoo whodoo stuff that Raven can fix anytime, but how do I explain myself to her? Oh God she's gonna kill me I know it. Maybe, if I'm just honest with her, she'll understand?" At this point, he was just trying to convince himself that everything would be okay because the alternative wasn't very great.

"And how do even go about waking her up? I mean, she could rest for weeks!" Beast Boy began to ponder his predicament and what he could he do but as if on cue, Raven slowly fell down to the ground before dropping her head and coming out of her meditation state.

"Ugh, still no answers. Why is this so difficult?" Raven grabbed her book and stood up. Beast Boy was in awe, the simple act of her grabbing a book and standing up seemed almost god like and left him speechless, he strained his neck to look upwards at her as she began walking towards him with her bare feet shaking the ground.

Quickly snapping out of his amazement at the massive Raven, Beast Boy began trying to run as fast as he could, not thinking to even attempt at transforming. Suddenly, her foot cast a shadow over him and he ducked into the fetal position, hoping to absorb whatever impact was coming his way and screamed out "RAVEN PLEASE DON'T CRUSH ME!!!!!"

1. Raven stops swearing she just heard Beast Boy but, from the floor. She stops and sets her foot to the side and sees him cowering on the ground. Is this a good thing though? Or will she be angry at him for spying?

2. Raven steps on Beast Boy but she doesn't feel him so he's got to find a way off her foot or find himself being an insole till further notice.

3. Her foot just misses him and Beast Boy must gain his bearing find some way to get her attention, or get out and find somebody else to help.

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Raven checks her foot

*Noteb*
2. Raven is unaware of the tiny stowaway

*Noteb*
3. Just missed!

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
