The Curiosity communal showers. One of the most beloved features of the ship to its crew. Its healthy supply of high quality soaps and shampoos and endless supply of hot water courtesy of the excess heat of the kantor reactor made it a wonderful place to come relax and wash away the day's stresses alongside any physical debris caught in your coat. All of this was true... For the Rodens.
To humans it was a much different place, rarely visited willingly as it was not constructed with them in mind. The human crew members had their own places to wash up and if they were in the Rodens' showers it was either because they'd been brought there, or because they had been assigned to the facility in their duties as morale officer. Were it not for devices issued to each morale officer stuck with the unfortunate job, a wearable bit of tech that somehow deflected liquids and soap around the bearer, it wouldn't even be possible to do, as the Roden-sized stream of water would easily have washed away any humans on the tiles.
All of this of course brings us to you. One such morale officer currently in the unenviable position of being pinned under the gigantic foot of some random Roden with some unimportant task on the ship. You actually might have seen him before running a store counter? Hardly relevant at the moment as you ere being made to lick the spaces between his toes, his foot lifting only enough to let you make your way over to the next one and only when he was satisfied with your work on the current position. As much as you despised this treatment (you weren't sure you would ever get the taste of this Roden's foot sweat out of your mouth) you were all too aware of what the alternatives might be should you fail to meet his expectations in your performance.
