Harry looked up at the smug expression that had taken over Draco Malfoy's face. He mentally berated himself, he should have expected something like this from the blonde. He was always looking for any kind of opening that would allow him to get the jump on Harry.
"So nice to see you, Scarhead" Draco said leaning slightly over making sure no one could see that is was Harry that had been knocked over. The side alley that they were in was small and dark, but Draco didn't want to take a chance at anyone interfering with his plans for his rival. He had been scouring the Malfoy libraries extensively for something that could get help him get one over on the Gryffindor. It was only a couple weeks ago that he stumbled on the perfect spell, one that would turn the person the spell was cast on into an inanimate object. It seemed that the spell would also allow for the one transformed to access their senses except for speech.
Draco was so excited with the idea, he had been practicing the spell on different living creatures since. His parents thankfully were completely oblivious of what he had been doing. Once he saw Potter enter the small side alley he knew it was his chance to strike, so he followed him and sent a silent curse at this back.
Harry was not liking the smirk that was taking over Malfoy's expression, it usually led to him watching his back for the next month. "What do you want Malfoy?"
"Oh, what I want is quite simple actually. What I want is for you to be of use to a wizard much superior to yourself of course," Draco said with his wand out in his hand.
Harry watched the wand cautiously, "And I suppose that wizard would be you wouldn't it."
