Science

You sat in your chair in the middle of the room, whilst the rest of the year 12 students rush out of the room.

You slowly pack away your things, carefully thinking about the next conversation you were going to have with Mrs H.

You were behind on your credit so needed to ask Mrs H about what you could do to get back on track.

‘Uhhh, uhhh Hey Mrs H’ You carefully whispered

‘Jake, what a pleasant surprise!’ She replied, diminishing the lack of confidence you had.

‘I was just wondering what I could do to get extra credit for my college course’ You sternly said.

‘Well, I do need some help with my front lawn.’ She said, ‘The grass is out of control and I need some help cutting it, let’s say, this saturday?’

‘That sounds good to me’ you replied. ‘My parents are out of town for a while so I’ve got no plans.’

‘Well I live on the other side of town so if it gets late maybe you can stay the night!’ She chuckled.

‘I might just take you up on that offer’ You joked as you turned around to leave the room…
