Wonder Woman completely oblivious too what had happened continued her day like any other. There was no way for her to know that her kindness had been mistaken for that of snobbery.
Her superhero life often interfered with her personal life, so for this reason Diana had fallen behind on some of her tasks.
It took her the rest of the afternoon and part of the evening before she was finally able to catch up and go home.
Later, as she stood outside her house door, fumbling for the key. She heard her stomach growl fiercely. "Oh, Diana you are a hungry girl. Well, that's what you get for skipping supper." She chuckled to herself.
Opening the door, she quickly walked to the small kitchen in the back of the house to prepare a large sandwich. Her hunger causing her to forget about the door she left open.
It wasn't until she had satisfied her appetite, that she remembered. "What a day this has been. First all that extra work and now I forget to close the front door to my own home." Slowly she made her way back to the entrance, not too worried since it was a quiet neighborhood and even if someone was crazy enough to rob her, she was Wonder Woman. She could handle any cat burglar.
Diana was half way through a yawn when she stopped cold in her tracks.
The door was closed and she knew it had been open. Of that she was sure. As she turned to scan the room, she was met by the cold barrel of a .45 moving her head slightly to the right was able to see the intruder who held the weapon to her face. It was none other then the blonde woman she had met earlier, Barbara....
