Chapter #4

Supersize me

Keya Runs through the swinging door behind the counter. Then looks around jumping as a black tennis shoe lands next to her. She looks up to see a Hispanic girl and smiles.
“ yes my ticket out of here” Keya says jumping on the shoe.


Then screams as the girl takes a step. As she does Keya goes flying into the air and lands. On something soft.
“ oh thank God this bun broke my fall “. Then realizing the situation.
“ wait bun oh” Keya yells and tries to sit up. Only to see the cute Hispanic girl walking towards her. Caring a spatula not paying any mind just doing her job.


As Keya looks up at the pretty girl holding the burger time slows down. Two things happen at the same time The girl obliviously begins to tilt the spatula. Not knowing of Keya laying on the bun, and Keya begins to scream shout and try to stand.
“ wait no I’m down” but she’s cut off as the hot burger patty lands on her.
“ Did someone call me?” the Hispanic girl says looking around. Then she’s interrupted as a woman named Hattie yells at her.
“ come on Marissa we got customers”.


So sighing Marissa finishes up the burger slapping down a slice of cheese. Then pickles lettuce tomato and mayonnaise mustard and ketchup. Below the hot patty, Keya is sobbing as the pressure builds on her. As above her Marissa finishes and wraps the burger then drops it with fries onto a tray. Which is going where?
