This choice: Welcome to the Central Park Jungle • Go Back... Standing on the pile of his own clothes, Peter gulped when he realized where he was. Of all the places he could be in, it had to be one of New York’s most recognizable landmarks: Central Park. All around him was the massive fields of grass much taller than him, with several trees spaced out in the distance along with giant figures much farther away. Thankfully they weren’t close to him, though he sort of wished they were now that he thought about it.
“What was I thinking swinging around here last night?” He said to himself, but the more important question was how did he even get so small in the first place? That part of his memory was still hazy, so he really needed to get back to normal. First though, he needed to cover himself up.
Carefully leaping down from his pile of clothes, Peter noticed that each part of the grass extended up to the sky like trees of a forest or even close to one of the skyscrapers in the city. It was enough to remind him of Hank Pym who must’ve seen this view plenty of times during his adventures as Ant-man. Now part of him suddenly expected to find an ant hill somewhere nearby.
“I don’t think I’m considered a friend to any ants.” He said to himself, “They’d probably make a meal out of me if they ever saw me.” Best to stay out of there way for now, just in case.
Peter took his time trying to pick apart some of the blades of grass to wrap around himself, taking note to be extra cautious since plenty of giants have wandered around here so many times. That was another thing to worry about here, as if the list needed to get bigger than it already was. Next thing he’d have to fear was any animals like squirrels, or even pigeons.
“Stop worrying so much, Pete.” He said to himself once he covered himself with some grass blades around his body, “It’s just another eventful day you’ll laugh about when it’s all over. You got this.” He really hoped so.
All he had to do was get out of here, and get help. The tiny Spider-Man knew this was a difficult task, but he had some hope. The question was though, what will end up happening to him?
Option 1: Get to higher ground: Staying on the ground was pretty dangerous, so Peter decides to head to the tallest structure he could see: A tree. That’s a perfectly good idea, right?
Option 2: Suddenly, a giant shoe. A massive shoe suddenly lands close by. Whoever it belongs to, it seems like they just now noticed the discarded clothes left on the ground. Who was it, and can Peter rely on them to help?
Option 3: A giant frisbee? Yep, a giant frisbee lands close to Peter. The owner’s gonna go after it soon, so he can probably hitch a ride on it. But was that safe at all and who even owned this frisbee anyway?
Option 4: The Pigeons are here. Peter can see a small gathering of giant pigeons nearby. Is it even a good idea to be near them, even if there’s a high chance of them flying off in the sky? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
