Peter whipped his head around, taking in everything that he could see with urgency. Seeing the metal walls, and some dark shapes he wasn’t sure he wanted to know about right now, his already racing heart tripled in speed. Yet he looked in front of him, and it was what his wide eyes spotted that told him all he needed to know. “Don’t tell me that that damn machine actually transported me into a locker of all places!?” In front of Peter was a series of grates, which were letting in the bare minimum amount of light into the confined space he was trapped in.
‘Of all the places to end up after being shrunken, why did it have to be a locker,’ the hero thought in dismay. The walls and the ceiling of the locker were quite a ways away from him, so Peter unfortunately knew that he was actually quite small. Which was good for Hank and Janet’s experiment…but not so much for him.
Peter started walking forward to the grates, ‘At the very least I’ll be able to get a glimpse of where I am, maybe even have a chance at escaping through the grates.’ Yet as he made it to the grates he saw to his dismay that they were too curved for him to squeeze out of without tearing his suit or hurting himself. He was able to get a slight look outside through the grates…though he wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not.
“Oh shit…”
What kind of locker is Peter trapped in?
1) A School Locker: Seeing the rows of lockers through the grate typically wouldn’t have been very helpful in terms of finding out where he was. But seeing a mass of people going back and forth in front of him carrying backpacks clinched it for him. Whipping his head around, Peter squinted at the dark shapes he had only gotten a glimpse of…and saw much to his horror that they were textbooks.
2) A Janitor’s Locker: Peter was able to clearly see an assortment of cleaning tools outside the locker. Ranging from mops to rags to trash cans, he was even able to spot some boxes of what he could only assume were more supplies. Sighing in dismay, Peter turned around and realized the shape of what he saw that the dark shape was actually a set of clothing and even more cleaning supplies…most likely for the janitor.
3) A Locker Room Locker: Whipping back around, Peter was glad that his face was not only covered by his mask but that he was alone from how flushed he was. Seeing a bare ass was certainly one way to find out that he was in a locker room. The light from the grates now makes the clothing and bottles in the back of the locker more visible to the tiny hero.
