Jason woke in a chamber and discovered he had no weapon and his mask was missing. There was no latch to the door and it didn’t give way as he pounded on the door even the glass didn’t react more than some mild shaking. He had never liked tight places but he would wait patiently to be free if he had to. The room shook and jostled as he looked around. A video screen in the room in front of him came to life.
“Good you are awake,” a voice spoke to him. “I hoped you would awaken before I dropped you on the island. I like having a face to face with my victims before I drop them on the island so they know who to come after. My name is Frank Larson, I doubt the name means much to you with the time you spend out in the woods but I have made a fortune in the technology industry.”
The killer of Crystal Lake stared at the figure memorizing the appearance of the man. If he could be found where he was going the man would soon be placed in a grave. Jason wasn’t one for torture, he was more of a swift kill person but there was always a temptation to do it was certain targets. He hated being taken away from his mother, if he brought her enough bodies perhaps he could bring her back from the dead. It hadn’t worked yet but he had some hope for it.
“I am going to drop you on my private island and kill you,” Larson explained. “I have a wonderful array of traps, warriors, and beasts to hunt you down and kill you. I wonder how well you will do considering your reputation, I am shocked at all of the sedatives it took to take you down so perhaps you will perform well but in the end, it won’t matter because you will die like the rest. I do hope you will make the highlight reel.”
The doors beneath Jason opened and sent him tumbling at a high rate of speed towards the ground but a chute opened after a few terrifying moments slowing his descent towards a pair of tropical islands. The killer could see a large building in the center of the larger island that he was landing at the south end of. The second island lay to the north and a large building lay in the center of it, a mansion surrounded by high walls, the likely location of the man he wanted to kill.
The door popped open on the landing on the warm sand allowing Jason to place his feet into this foreign place. The heat reminded him of the warm summers back home but the plants were foreign to him and confused him as he walked towards them, this was not a wilderness that he knew. As he walked up the path he arrived at crossroads of trails. One trail said mask, another pointed towards machete and the final pointed straight ahead and said death.
