Paws as they shifted

You seemed to have lost all focus as You started looking at Balto's massive paws. You admired the sweat that was dripping from the wolf's toes.

"Is everything alright, little human?" Balto asked. You didn't respond. Balto noticed that You were looking at his paws then he looked back at You. "Oh, I see." Balto said with a small chuckle.

"What do you mean?" You asked. "Well it's obvious that you like my paws, be honest, please?" Balto said. "Okay, it's true, I do." You confessed.

Balto then gave You a soft and warm smile, as he laid down, gently lifting up his right front paw. "You can rub them if you want." Balto said with a smile on his face. "Really?" You asked.

"Of course, I could actually use a paw rub, I've been walking all day." Balto said. You slowly placed a hand on Balto's massive sweaty paw pads. "So soft." You said in your mind.
