It all started one morning at the Finster residence
as Chaz and Kira were talking to Kimi in the
bathroom.
"But why are you making me do this?" Kimi asked.
"Well, Kimi," Kira said, "You've become two years
old a few months back, and well, that's usually
the age most babies start potty-training."
After Kira's explanation, Kimi then took a look
at her potty, unlike Chuckie's potty that sported
a clown motif, hers was pink and was decorated
with some different kinds of flowers on the seat.
"I don't know, Mommy." Kimi said. "Do I really
need to learn how to use that instead of my
diaper?"
Then Chaz interjected, "Oh, Kimi, it's okay.
Chuckie was afraid to give up diapers when
he started potty-training, but once he did,
he felt so much better."
Chaz and Kira both saw that Kimi was still
a little unsure about this and decided to try
a new tactic.
"How about this, Kimi," Chaz then said. "Why
don't you just try sitting on your potty for right
now, just to see how it feels?"
"Really?" Kimi asked.
"Of course," Kira added. "We won't force you to
go in it right away. You can just have a seat on
the potty and tell us how you think it feels on
your bottom. You can even keep your diaper on
for it if you want."
Kimi thought about it for a bit, then decided.
"Okay." Kimi said. "I'll do it, but can I still be in
diapers for at least a little while longer?"
"Of course, Kimi." Chaz replied.
Then Kira asked. "Okay, Kimi, would you want
to sit on the potty with or without your diaper on?"
