Since you and Sid turned nine, every summer, for two weeks, your parents and Sid's parents have sent you to Latin camp. And for two weeks, you two studied...surprise, surprise...Latin. You did a lot of other things too. You swam, you hiked, you learned how to fight with a wooden gladius. But the big thing was learning Latin.

So you know lots of Latin phrases, such as prima facie, meaning 'at first face.'

On the face of things, when Ms. Smith says that if she had a pot of gold, she wouldn't be a substitute teacher, you tend to be a believer. But she is a fey, after all, and the fey had different motivations for doing things than humans did.
