Though Lincoln was high enough to land somewhere close to Ronnie Anne, he didn't end up in what was considered a good spot as his descent led him right into her chip bag. He landed on top of some chips which didn't break underneath him even if their rough structure prevented him from slipping further into the bag. "Ow...at least I landed in somewhere safe." He stood up as fast as he could and noticed the foil walls around him which gave him a big clue as to where he ended up. "Or not..."
To prove that his spot was dangerous, a giant hand decided to come down and retrieve a chip. Lincoln was almost grabbed along with the chip as it was tipped over and sent him falling onto the other chip pieces. He could see that the chip was sent up in the air until it got near Ronnie Anne's face as she shoved it into her mouth without a care. He could hear her crunch and swallow down the piece without even thinking about it.
"Why couldn't I have landed on her hair instead?" Lincoln said as he tried to think of something, anything, to get out of here but his options were greatly limited with the wall of foil offering little assistance, other than the chips he stood on. Some of the chips were broken up into smaller pieces, others still retained their large form where the slightest grip could break their fragile state. It'd be difficult to have a good grip on one so he chose to move to the small pile gathering underneath the few chips he saw. While amazed that he was small enough to end up inside a chip bag, the giant hand belonging to his friend was more than enough to make him remember that he was in danger as she got a piece dangerously close to him.
"Lincoln, where are you?" Ronnie Anne stood from the couch and called out to her friend just before taking another chip to bite into. It didn't make sense, where could he have gone in such a short time? It wasn't like he was hiding, was he? She lightly shook the bag in her hand as she waited for a response but there wasn't anyone there. Did he really just leave so quickly or just popped up someplace else to hang out with more of her family. She could only hope that he was okay as she lowered her hand in to pick up some chips, she'd give him a few minutes before she'd leave.
Ronnie Anne's shaking of the bag had shook up Lincoln a lot as he fell face first into the pile of chips which, while tasty, almost surrounded him as a few pieces landed on top of him. The shaking stopped just as it started but he wasn't out of danger just yet when he rolled over and saw the giant hand reached down towards him. The hand scooped up a few broken chips, luckily, the tiny Lincoln was able to avoid being taken just in the nick of time.
Lincoln knew his luck wasn't going to last forever and wasn't sure how much longer he could keep it up. Ronnie Anne seemed to be focused on watching the TV as she put the bag right next to her, making Lincoln think that he had a window of time to escape before it was too late. He figured that he only had a few seconds before Ronnie Anne would reach into the bag again, so his options were to either jump out of the bag now or stay inside it and risk being eaten until she finishes the chips. With the former being the safer option, Lincoln knew exactly what to do.
