Permanently, unless the glue is given water in ...

“...Permanently, unless water is given in the next 24 hours.” The label said. “Oh well it would suck if it was shorter. How long have your feet been stuck in?” Asked Marcus to Jessica. “About 5 minutes ago I think.” Jess said as she and everyone else looked at her barefeet. The only thing anyone can do now would just to grab some water and splash her feet to release them.

“I‘ll go get some water.” Another student said as they ran off to get water. While plenty of the students tried to get water Jess noticed her feet were starting to get increasingly difficult to lift, originally being just 8 centimetres but slowly decreasing to 4 then 2 and now it’s been 1 hour and now her barefeet were now practically fused to the floor, the only thing stretching now is her skin.

“What’s taking them so long? Is it really that hard to get water here?” Said Jessica.

“Oh did nobody tell you? The town’s water pipes had been damaged last night so it’s undergoing maintenance right now.” Marcus said.

“Well how long will it take?” Asked Jess.

“Um apparently until tomorrow afternoon.” Said Marcus before noticing Jess’s face with an intense face.

“Oh no by that time my feet are gonna be stuck here forever. They got stuck at midday today!” Screamed Jessica.
