Stephanie held out a belt. Nick saw that it was long and had so many holes in it.
"Why is it so long?" he asked. "And why are there so many holes in it?"
Stephanie just looked at him, then she spoke, "It will allow your body to be any size you want."
"Any size I want," Nick wondered. "Is this a joke?"
Stephanie didn't answer. She strapped the belt around Nick's pants and fastened it to the lowest point it could get to.
"Worth a shot," Nick said.
"Give it time,"Stepahnie insisted. "It will work its magic. That'll be $4.00."
As Nick got home, he felt strange. WHe went to his bathroom and hopped onto the scale. It read his weight as 20 pounds. Nick stepped off, thinking it was an illusion. Normally, he weighed 80 pounds. Something felt off. Then, he stepped back on. The results were the same: 20 pounds.
"What's going on?" Nick asked himself. "Why am I suddenly 20 pounds?"
Then he lifted up his shirt and saw his stomach had receded. Stephanie wasn't kidding! The belt really could change a person's body.
