Judy eventually decided that the sooner she could get a moment with Nick alone, the better. And given she was on her way to work, it seemed like as good a time as any. Everyone preferred their morning coffee at the ZPD, so she would just help herself to a little herbal tea, completely unaware of what it would actually do to her.
She had a special spot in the precinct that she went in to be alone in from time to time. It was one of the smaller offices on the upper floors, too small for most of the big mammals in the building to ever bother with. It was also the perfect place to plug in a Hot Shot water heater and boil up some water for her first bag. Judy set her things down and waited patiently for everything to be ready while she took a deep sniff of the tea.
Though rabbit's weren't known for their noses, there was something heavenly about the aroma surrounding the tea. It was creamy in a strange way with hints of honey to it. And berries? Some sort of berries. The sort of drink that would leave any sweet tooth satisfied.
It certainly tasted sweet as Judy drowned her first cup. It didn't even need any sugar or sweetener too it before Judy smacked her lips.
"Hey, this is really good," she said. "I feel great! And full of energy!"
As the tea settled in the pits of her stomach, it felt like it was warming her whole body. From her head to her toes, Judy felt a surge of heat pass over her and she was resisting the urge to bounce around the whole room. Was this why Stephanie wanted to give her this supplement tea? To give her a boost of energy.
Judy definitely didn't want the moment to go to waste though and immediately dug out her phone to text Nick to meet her so she could speak with him.
As she typed away, she failed to notice that the tea was doing something other than giving her body a boost of energy. Her right ear dipped slightly before it began to slowly shrink in height, becoming squatter and far less like a rabbit's. As it squashed down, it became fatter and rounder too until it resembled the ears of different animal, specifically a mouse. The tea was already starting to take effect and transforming parts of Judy's body as she took another sip. The only question was how the process would work, exactly?
