As quick as a flash, someone came running into her shop. It was a skinny little weasel in shorts and a small tank top.
"Can I help you?" Stephanie asked.
The weasel turned to face her.
"The name's Weaselton," he replied. "Duke Weaselton. Don't try and stop me."
He grabbed a watch from a kiosk and tried to flee the shop, but Stephanie pressed a button under the counter and the door locked itself.
"If you want something," she said. "You have to buy it."
"Fat chance!" Duke said. "I didn't bring any money."
"Then I have something I've been saving for someone for free," Stephanie said.
She rushed to the back and wheeled out something rectangular on a dolly. The object was covered by a blanket. Then, Stephanie removed the blanket to reveal a funhouse mirror. Duke looked into it and a fat weasel wearing the same clothes as him stared back.
"If you stole this from a carnival," he sneered. "Then you're a bigger thief than me."
He turned his attention back to the mirror. This time, his reflect was really tall and skinny.
"This isn't what it looked like before!" he said. "What's going on here?"
"The mirror can show you the seven deadly sins bottled up inside you," Stephanie said.
"Seven deadly sins? Bah!" Duke sneered.
One look in the mirror and he saw his reflection was now muscular, but it was still tall.
"I can ship it to you for free," Stephanie said.
"Sure," Duke said, humoring her.
"Be careful with it," Stephanie warned. "The seven deadly sins inside you can claw to the surface with it."
At the alley where Duke hid, the mirror was shipped to him. He was still skeptical about the mirror, but the silence was broken by a grumble coming from his naked stomach. A wolf who lived in a nearby apartment came out to tell him to shut up.
"Excuse me!" Duke called. "I'm just a little hungry."
His stomach's growl got even louder.
"Do you have anything to eat? Please, I'm starving!"
Which of the seven deadly sins does he exhibit first?
