A way to impress a certain someone

“Well there are plenty things all about this shop that can do that,” Stephanie laughs

“Yea I’m sure of it, but I mean REALLY impress someone,” Nick presses the matter to try to get her to understand. His explanation is met with a face of pondering, Stephanie may have something after all.

Her face lights up and if this were an old cartoon, there’d be a lightbulb above her head. “I’ve got what you need, come back here,” she beckons Nick and then wanders off to the back of the store, where customers aren’t allowed.

Once Nick gets around the corner, Stephanie pulls him close, grabs his shirt and looks him dead in the eye before whispering, “What I’m about to show you, you can’t let anyone else know, got it?” Nick gives a quick, terrified and wide-eyed nod.Then, promptly letting him go, she turns to face a wall with a keypad. She makes Nick turn around so he doesn’t see the code.

Nick heard a bunch of mechanical noises and things moving behind him. He really wants to turn around but doesn’t want to go against Stephanie’s wishes.

“Ok, you can turn around now,” she says

When Nick spins around he’s greeted with a large white wall that holds a kajillion of devices that look straight up out of spy movies. Some look like guns, some look like ray guns, there’s remotes, switches, and even buttons. Every device has a title above it which displays the function of the device. Some notable ones he saw were shrink ray and a transformation remote.

Stephanie speaks, interrupting Nicks moment of awe, “So, take your pick!”

Nick quickly straightens up and switches back to his professional face. He lets his eyes wander the wall before finally grabbing the.......
