The world is going by in a blur, Sarah's steps far to fast and far to chaotic for you too make out much of anything. All you could say is that she didn't seem to be in any kind of hurry as her walk seemed practically never ending. You finally felt her slowing her pace after what felt like an eternity on the worlds worst thrill ride. You hadn't had breakfast yet, but if you had, you were sure you would of lost it all over Sarah's boot.

Speaking of breakfast, you could smell the familiar sent of syrup, coffee, bacon, and eggs wafting through the air. You looked up from Sarah's boot watching her push up the glass door leading into a new world, that of a diner. A small local joint the two of you frequented often in fact, most likely where the two of you would of shared a meal if you hadn't of shrunk down.

"Sarah! How are you doing sweetie?" Kate greeted Sarah giving her a hug.

Kate had worked at the Big Bites Diner since you and Sarah were kids and she'd always acted like a second mother too the two of you even though she already had several kids of her own.

Kate was dressed in a simple black dress with slight low cut, the Diner's name printed on the right breast with her name right under it. She was in her mid forties now and looked great for her age having always kept on her feet as a single mother of twins. She always had a smile on her face which only grew wider when Sarah and yourself stopped by.

"Where is your other half?" Kate asked a bit confused seeing Sarah without you, one of you coming alone only meant one thing. "What are you two bickering about this time?

You listened in as Kate and Sarah talked a bit, Sarah saying there really wasn't anything. In fact she wasn't sure what was wrong since you just up and vanished on her. She came to the diner hoping you'd turn back up in fact. Kate gave Sarah a hug assuring her you'd show up sooner or later before sitting her down.

"Now let me get you something hot eat and drink to take you mind off all this. Kate smiled and Sarah thanked her before leaving the table.

You now could only see a mix of feet and legs the top of the table blocking your view of anything above.

You felt bad, Sarah seemed to be worried about you thinking that you must be mad about something. After all she couldn't of guessed you shrank to a speck and were riding on her boot. You needed to fix this, show her that you were still here, but on the other hand if you rush you might end up getting yourself killed by accident.
