Your starter was a Buneary. It was weird not having a regular starter, but you didn't mind since you bonded with your Buneary very well.

She was really sweet and cute, and loved to snuggle with you, her fur keeping you warm at night as she was always stayed out of her Pokeball.

She was also very good at finding berries when it was time to eat and you did notice she had quite an appetite.

You were thinking it was finally time to get yourself another Pokemon, so you two were currently exploring the wilderness together.
