Chapter #3

A "LITTLE" MAGIC TRICK

    by: Unknown
Tom Winslow (male; Caucasian; brown hair; matching eyes) stood at the front of the line in nervous anticipation. For today was his fifteenth birthday and, to celebrate it, his somewhat affluent parents had to decided to book the local community theater for a lavish party featuring Alexandra The Great. The most award-winning female stage magician to ever headline at a Las Vegas casino!

[That she was also the hottest-looking stage mage in Vegas didn't hurt, either.]

The manager of the theater finally came into the foyer and unlocked the double doors in front of the box office. Just barely managing to dodge the in-rush of teenagers led by Tom, himself! When he reached the counter, Tom had no trouble asking for one ticket. Specifically; front row center! He then ran to that seat, followed by his highly amused father. Upon sitting down, Tom focused all his attention on the stage.

"For God's sake, son, blink!" his father laughed: "Otherwise, your eyes might fall out of your head."

Tom chose to roll his eyes, instead, as that was the oldest joke his father loved to tell. Over and over and over, again! Finally, however, the house lights dimmed and the manager's voice came over the PA system.

"Ladies and gentlemen; please give a big hand for our special guest: ALEXANDRA THE GRRRRRRRREAT!"

Tom's father chuckled softly as he whispered: "I hope she doesn't materialize Tony the Tiger. He might hand that guy a subpoena for plagiarism!"

Tom just ignored him as he yelled and clapped at the svelte figure that appeared out of a cloud of thunderously-erupting smoke. Her long black hair the same shade as her trademark top hat, semi-tuxedo with tails, bikini briefs, and high heels.

"Hello, Ridgefield! What say we get this party started right? For my first trick, I'll need the help of a volunteer from the audience. How about you, Birthday Boy?"

You have the following choice:

1. Tom runs up on stage faster than he's ever moved before.
