The Seven Deadly Demonesses

    by: ejones312 Author IconMail Icon
Merlineo finished putting the final touches on the pentagram on the floor of the abandoned mill, which he used as his own personal hiding space to perform this dark spell away from the eyes of the townspeople. He had placed the candles at the five points of the pentagram met, and placed a bowl of animal parts in the center of the star. The bowl contained the eyes of a frog, the fang of a serpent, the mane of a lion, the feather of a peacock, the tail of a pig, the horn of a goat, and the shell of a snail.

These were the necessary preparations to summon forth seven certain demons from Hell, each one representing a certain vice that their respective animal parts represented. You see, Merlineo found a passage in John Dee’s book of dark spells capable of summoning forth the Seven Deadly Sins in their demonized forms. In exchange for his everlasting soul, he would use the demonically-epitomized sins to wreak havoc on the town for casting him out the way they did because of his horned deformity.

Merlineo sat cross-legged at the rim of the pentagram, cut the palm of his wrist with a dagger, and held it over the circle. He squeezed his hand hard to squeeze out the droplets of blood from his palm while he chanted, “Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia.”

The blood began to drip onto the rim of the pentagram while Merlineo kept chanting. “Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia.”

The boy's blood began to puddle at the rim. “Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia.”

Suddenly, the spilt droplets began to unnaturally merge with each other. The blood flowed through the floor, crept its way up the sides of the bowl and into the animal parts. All of a sudden, the parts spontaneously combusted into an unnatural greenish-yellow fire. “Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia.”

The animal parts began to fry underneath the heat of the fire, the parts melting into a soupy liquid. The mixture of the melted visceral parts, along with the boy's blood, created a crimson liquid boiling and bubbling underneath its heat. With each part melting an the boy's blood added to it, the bubbling crimson liquid's level rose until the bowl began to overflow.

“Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia.”

The liquid poured onto the floor and ran along the chalk lines of the pentagram. The once white chalk began to turn crimson red as the candles placed there began to display the same unnatural greenish-yellow flames within the center of the bowl.

“Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia.”

The flames grew bigger as their colors transitioned to the traditional red-orange coloration, burning brighter and mightier than before, with an unusual infernal light.

“Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia! Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia! Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia! Gula, avaritia, fornicatio, ira, vanagloria, acedia, superbia!"

All of a sudden, the flames exploded, instantly filling the entire room with black smoke that smelled awfully like brimstone and sulfur. Merlineo coughed and gagged as he fanned away the smoke and squinted his eyes at the epicenter of the smoke. He could make out a giant shape within the smoke at the center of the pentagram, silhouettes of humanoid shadows rising taller than the adults that tormented him. One by one, the shadows poured out of the bowl until seven human-like shadows stood as tall as the inside of the mill, each shadow a different body shape.

The smoke finally cleared, and Merlineo beheld the seven shapes as clear as a midsummer's day. They were all women, each one of them tall with horns sticking from the top of their heads, through their hair, even.

The woman in the far left was tall and pale, but also bony, as if she was an older woman malnourished and living on the streets. Her hair was as gray and pale as her skin, unkempt, unwashed, and obscuring her eyes hidden behind the thick layer of elongated strands. She wore a single rag that appeared to big for her to wear, but it obscured her torso from her chest to her bony ankles. This was Sloth, the Demoness of Laziness.

The woman to her right was stout compared to the other women, but she was also very large in body shape. Her face was flabby with large lips spreading from dimple to dimple. Her arms and legs had flab the size of a single hay bale, and her belly was large enough to fit a wagon carrying said hay bales. Her black hair was tied in a tight ponytail, and she wore a large bra and a large pair of underwear to cover her sensitive areas. This was Gluttony, the Demoness of Hunger

The woman to her right was a demoness who glanced at her fellow demonesses with contempt and spite. She was pale like her slothful peer, but she wasn't bony or malnourished. She had a healthy set of black hair, but at the same time, it appeared silver. She wore a beautiful, Gothic-styled set of clothes, but at the same time, it was also unsettling. Her face was adorned with black makeup, which sometimes chipped away into something frightening. This was Envy, the Demoness of Jealousy.

The woman in the middle was tall and skinny, but she always appeared with her head tilted upward. Her clothes was like that of a noblewoman worn over with a large white fur robe, complete with a set of peacock feathers in her headdress tying her head of blonde hair. In all fairness, she appeared beautiful, with her angelic features coated with a layer of makeup, but she also appeared posh and proud, as she is constantly smiling at her reflection in her mirror. This was Pride, the Demoness of Vanity.

The woman to her right was as beautiful and skinny as Pride as well, but her appearance said otherwise. She wore a silk linen dress made of pure gold spun to her desire, worn over by a dress made entirely of dragon scales, each one shimmering like a precious metal or precious gem in the light. On her head of pure golden hair, she wore a crown of golden and silver, encrusted with a large diamond in the center and many jewels around the circlet. She also wore a pearl necklace and a gold choker, and a ring on each finger with a different jewel. This was Greed, the Demoness of Avarice.

The woman to her right was the largest in the group, almost the size of the small cottage, ten feet tall in approximation. Her dark-skinned body was ripped with large muscles from her face to her feet, her breasts and crotch area obscured by a tight layer of furry lion pelts tied tightly with the toughest strands of rope to hold them firmly. She also wore thick leather tied tightly to her legs below her knees and at her forearms, which were armed with a cestus, an ancient battle glove. Her black hair was tired together in tight braids. This was Wrath, the Demoness of Vegeance.

And finally, the woman on her right was a curvaceous young woman with a sultry grin on her face. She was a skinny figure that practically naked, hardly wearing anything, except a small bra covering her nipples and a very small set of panties covering her crotch. She had long black hair reaching to her knees, wore black nail polish on her fingers and toes, and wore seductive eyeshadow and ebony lipstick. This was Lust, the Demoness of Pleasure.

As Merlineo gazed in wonder, awe, and slight fright at the appearance of the demonesses towering over him, a deep, butch female voice growled in the air. "Who would dare summon the Demoness of Vengeance, Wrath at their own peril!?"

"Oh, do be quiet, Wrath. Do you think that I, Pride, the Demoness of Vanity, would want to be summoned to this decrepit place with a bunch of disgusting and depraved reprobates?" the demoness in the center responded snobbishly with a posh, borderline elderly voice. "If it were up to me, the mortal who foolishly summoned us together should've summoned only I and no one else."

"Now, girls, there's no reason to argue amongst ourselves," the sultry voice of Lust scolded the arguing demonesses with a coo. "We don't to give our summoner a bad first impression, at least not before the Demoness of Pleasure has her way with him."

"Who cares about that? Does he have anything to eat? I'm starving," came the heavy voice of Gluttony.

"Please, you're always hungry," murmured Envy as turned away from the heavy demoness, casting a spiteful sideways glance. "I mean, at least you can eat in big quantities. I can't even keep up with how much Greed can eat in a single setting."

"Yeah, yeah, food is good and all, but I'm just here to get paid for my services here in the living world. Preferably something with gold or maybe jewels, but it better not be in copper, forgeries, or even electrum like last time," the avaricious demoness grumbling, remembering how her previous summoner couldn't pay the cash in full.

Sloth, unspoken, simply laid down on the dusty mill floor.

Pride cast her gaze around the inside of the mill, keeping her nose high and haughty to preserve her image. When her eyes cast onto the boy at the summoning circle, she whipped a fan at him. "You there, boy! You were the one who summoned us?"

Merlineo felt a lump rising as he stood up, nervous in the presence of the great demonesses. "Y-Yes, ma'am. I am the one who summoned you all here."

What was the demonesses reaction?

1.) The demonesses demand to know Merlineo's purpose for summoning them, and Merlineo tells them.

2.) The demonesses decide to torment Merlineo for being summoned by a child.
